The Dealer is in the Baton Rouge location of Sneaker Politics, for those that haven't been in yet. And while there, she sees a lot of fresh kids with a unique style. So starting today, we'll post a style breakdown of a stranger (hopefully this doesn't get creepy) whose look has caught our eye that week. 2-Cent presents: Listen Fest!

In their commitment to continually impact the youth of New Orleans, 2-Cent is bringing you the 2-cent Listen! Literacy and Arts Festival. On May 19th, Bayou Road will be taken over by Music, Art, and 1000s of free books. Last year's first time festival was a huge success, and this year will be bigger and better.

Festival International | Lafayette, La

Festival International is one of those off-the-radar gems that you've never heard about and wonder how you haven't once you're there...if that makes any sense. It's one of the biggest, free festivals in the nation with over 40 live performances on 5 stages spread over 5-days. Although we didn't get to see much of the festival this year (hey. it was hot), chilling on a porch with friends and BBQ all day equaled a perfect Sunday.

Extra, Extra!

The dope. Game was featured in Baton Rouge's The Advocate yesterday. This is a BIG accomplishment and couldn't have gotten there without support from the hometown. It's also pretty awesome to be featured in the newspaper for selling dope...legally. Haha.
