Everyone needs a vice in my opinion and Raising Cane's chicken fingers are mine. We had the opportunity to listen to founder and fellow alum, Todd Graves, while at LSU and the thing that I remember most from his presentation was to continue on in spite of. I'm sure you've all heard the story of Graves receiving a C on his business plan and being told no by banks initially. But instead of getting discouraged, he became a commercial fisherman in Alaska to raise the money on his own. Now there are Raising Cane's nationwide. So the moral of the story: Follow your dreams, even in spite of the occasional naysayer, and Alaskan fisherman make a bunch of money.
