Nike finally gets creative with Kobe’s marketing.
The Pusha has set a goal to complete the 2011 Forge Trail Series. The series is throughout Louisiana and consist of 4 races between 5 and 6 miles in length. He’s joined a running club, participated in a few races, and has recently started training with Geaux CrossFit to strengthen his legs. From what I’ve read, it’s a pretty rigorous workout that incorporates weightlifting, sprinting and gymnastics. Makes me tired to even think about, but here’s his most recent video in action.

I was on Lateboots.com and ran across a very interesting post they made titled ”HEINEKEN BLACK HISTORY MONTH CAMPAIGN!”. Their asking for up-and-coming artist 21 and older to submit a Black History Month related piece, promoting Heineken. The contest starts February 1st, and will last the first three weeks of February. This kinda reminds me of the episode on the Wayans Brothers when Marlon was advertising for J.O.B hahaa (if you catch my drift). But its all good though, perfect opportunity to showcase your work, and win some bread, $5,000 that is. Let’s go!

Caught the trailer for this during Black Swan, but missed the title. It’s a pretty interesting idea that if presented, I’d probably succumb to too. I mean, who wouldn’t want to ‘Become the perfect version of themselves’? Hopefully it lives up to my expectations this March.

We’ve got a friend named Erin and two things that she’s known for are her extensive vocabulary (thus the title) and her ability to host the grandest of dinner parties. So this New Year’s day was spent with her and Mr. Nice Guy (Brenden) enjoying a taco bar (w/ chicken, shrimp and beef), crab bisque, and shrimp wrapped in bacon. O_O Yeah, I’d say we started the year off properly.

When someone else believes and can envision your goals and/or dreams as much as you do, that just makes it all worth it. Tyrus, this was one way of toasting to the New Year that has spoken volumes. Thank You and I hope you’re ready for Roc-A-Fella-esque pictures every chance that we get. Lol
