Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. A day we’ve all seen before, but incidentally is the inauguration of President Obama’s second term. That’s something that, during Dr. King’s era, would have been unimaginable. Regardless of your political beliefs, today should inspire you to finally start those grand schemes. Dream Big. Be dope.

Something dope. has started in Baton Rouge: Sunday Mixers at The Londoner hosted by Tony. Last night various artists and professionals came out to network and support each other with music, food and spoken word performances. It was a pretty chill atmosphere that’s perfect to start off a new week. The mixers will be every first and third Sunday of the month at The Londoner (4215 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd); come support.
